FAQproof private beta terms

Last updated: 14 October 2026

By ticking "I agree" you accept these terms for the FAQproof private beta (app.faqproof.com). Questions: hello@faqproof.com.

1. The beta. FAQproof is in a free, invite-only beta. It may change, have bugs, be unavailable, or end at any time. Your invitation is personal; please don't share your access.

2. Your files stay yours.

  • You keep all rights to what you upload and to the questions FAQproof finds.
  • We use your files only to run the beta for you. They're sent to our AI provider for the analysis, and they aren't used to train AI models, by us or by our AI provider.
  • We don't share, show or publish your files or results.
  • You can delete a game at any time; its files and results are deleted with it. Backup copies expire within 7 days. More detail is on the Privacy page.

3. Security.

  • We take reasonable steps to keep your files private:
    • only your account can open them;
    • they're sent over encrypted connections and stored encrypted.
  • No system is perfectly secure, and this is an early beta, so we can't guarantee that your files will never be exposed by a bug, an attack or a failure at one of our providers.
  • If we learn that your files were exposed, we'll tell you promptly.
  • Please don't upload anything you couldn't accept being exposed.

4. As is.

  • The beta, including its privacy and security measures, is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
  • FAQproof uses AI (Claude, by Anthropic), and its questions may be incomplete or wrong. Treat each one as a question to check, not a verdict. You remain responsible for your rulebook and your game.
  • To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any losses from using the beta, including losses from a security incident, and our total liability to you is limited to US$50.

5. Your part. Only upload files you have the right to share. Don't try to access other people's games or to break or overload the service.

6. When the beta ends, we'll tell you first so you can export your questions, and then delete your account and files.

7. Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. We'll let you know by email or with a notice in the app. If you keep using the beta after that, the updated terms apply.
